Farage now back-tracked on his stopping all small boats within two weeks of getting elected. Asked how, he's changed the promise (significantly).

Also and maybe more significantly their Party Conference giving a platform to vaccine denier

Again, no surprises there.

Yep, reform have their own RFK. Farage should start covering his face in cheeto powder and Tice borrow some mascara from Oakeshot to make the aping of US foremost fascists complete.

Maybe good news for Conservatives and the rest of the country as means no chance Johnson is going to be coming back into politics. Ms Dorries would follow Johnson anywhewre and never jeopardise her chances of being close to him. So 110% certain she quadruple checked with Johnson before her move and she'd never have made it if the smallest possibility Johnson would ever return to Westminster.
You don't think Johnson might also join Reform Ltd?
Still can't see Johnson & Farangê being in the same room without egos creating havoc but seems like Ms Dorries "has a plan"
But on Sunday she [Dorries] gave an interview to a Mail podcast saying Johnson should team up with Farage to create an election-winning machine. “If there’s a will to make the lives of people better, then I think both men could and would find some way to accommodate each other’s egos and to coexist for the sake of the country,” she said.
Of course Farangę denies it could ever happen - of course for policy rather than ego reasons. I can't see it happening but does highlight where Ms Dorries allegiances really lie.

Farage, de Pfeffel and making peoples lives better said in the same sentence must be some kind of sick joke.

I meant that there's no chance of Farage and de Pfeffel working to make people's lives better.

Yes indeedy! No argument there.

To a traditional working class Labour voter a salary of over £90k would be wealthy. The point being if you are earning that and trying to be ‘tax efficient’ you’ll get called out as a hypocrite when saying the wealthy need to pay their share (and understandably so) even if what you’ve done is legal.

Agree. As a minister in government you are effectively held to a higher standard than the rest of the electorate - ministerial code being the prime instance here. And while I have no issues with tax efficiency, those who berate anyone who is doing legally allowed tax planning and calling for higher taxes on people should not be surprised when their own tax efficient dealings come back to bite them.

One small detail is that this didn't happen. Rayner was not trying to be "tax efficient" or to avoid tax. She was trying to deal with her Son's trust and purchase a property. Like most of us would do, she went with what the conveyancers said and didn't really look at the boiler plate about seeking professional tax advice yada yada yada.

If Starmer had any cohones he would be pointing out the abuse of tax laws by Farage, Ashcroft, Rees-Smugg, Sunak et al. Patriots all.

Rayners crime seems to have been not being rich enough to avoid tax properly.

What Rayner got wromng is that she didn't pay tax that she was due (and by a significant amount). She didn't take proper advice but rather stopped looking once she got the answer she wanted to hear (not a good trait for somebody who had her responsibilities for creating legislation).
