Or busy earning a living and turned off by the endless bickering of politicians.
If your shoes aren't comfortable, shooting yourself in the foot is not a solution.

Depending on one's frame of reference, most of the electorate is either stupid or ill informed. Or a combination thereof.
Call me controversial, but it is challenging to explain some recent polling any other way.
Does that include last year's GE?
Am no, I don't know what the extra p stands for.
Do you still not understand fpptp? The answer is yes, because so many people protest voted and it has created a wildly skewed parliament.
The result is a lot of people not getting what they wanted, because they voted AGAINST something, and they are now running like lemmings towards the next perceived silver bullet.
Get rid of some foreigners and let our septuagenarians fill the breach until our young people can make more babies.
Sorted.

The genius of the populists is that they make shooting yourself in the foot look more attractive than the same old dreary, mealy-mouthed offerings of traditional politicians.
Who to say, that Reform will shoot you want to shoot yourself.
They might actually do what they promise if they win the next election.

According the the ONS, there are over 9million working age people "economically inactive", why do we need more babies?
Because babies become tax payers?
Not if the babies, or, a large proportion of them, join the 9+ million.
Would at least some of the "economically inactive" become Income Tax and NI payers, if they had jobs? Even the "economically inactive" will be paying direct taxes.

Not for many years and during those many years are a significant drain on the economy. And the economy is in short term crisis.Because babies become tax payers?
