You've no idea what he might 'evolve' into.
Or what he is now.

As I said, utterly lost, even if you ignore what their policies are. They have absolutely no idea of how to dig themselves out of the hole they've dug themselves into.

Both they and Labour have vacant space to their respective lefts, which they are studiously ignoring, fixated as they are on Farage and the people who are going to vote for him anyway. And the others. who might not vote for him, if Labour and Tories weren't simply aping him will vote for him if Labour & Tories are just not-Farage-but Reformy-anyway.

Both they [Conservatives] and Labour... fixated as they are on Farage and the people who are going to vote for him anyway.
And that fixation is contributing to the validation of Farage, giving him and his bile prominence and acceptability (as in "We're going to do it as well so he must be right").

Not sure you use of the word "stupid" to describe a significant proportion of the UK Population

I didn't - but you just did.

The Daily Mail is very conflicted these days. It wants to back Reform but cannot because it is conservative with a small and a large ‘C’, so I believe it is hoping for some merger of the Tories and Reform to pretend it hasn’t gone too far to the right.

Can the Daily Mail go "too far to the right"?

Not sure you use of the word "stupid" to describe a significant proportion of the UK Population is wise, IMHO, it is akin to Prudent Gordon's use of the word "bigot".

Middle-lane hoggers are all stupid fugging idiots.

Like that you mean? (maybe I should have posted on the Free Speech thread ...)

Yes, I would even agree with you, but, I would not expect that to endear me to Middle-lane hoggers.

Which, or course matters not, unless I was trying to get them to vote for me, or, say, trying to convince them to change their behaviour.😊

Depending on one's frame of reference, most of the electorate is either stupid or ill informed. Or a combination thereof.

Call me controversial, but it is challenging to explain some recent polling any other way.

Or busy earning a living and turned off by the endless bickering of politicians.
