He's probably found all this work as a MP far too much and decided to call it a day to go off making money as a rent-a-gob in areas with less scrutiny. Not sure his backers generous friends would be happy though.

He’ll go down blaming UK for victimising him, and feck off to USA where he will be a nobody.

No, it's what Reform voters want, unless you are suggesting that only people who agree with Reform are meaningful voters?

Well, if the last Local Elections are anything to go by, there are a lot of "Reform Voters".

In practice, I believe there are a lot of people who voted Reform in Local Elections, who will not do so in a General Election.

The area in which I live went "Reform" after being almost totally Labour for as long as anyone can remember. The actual Council Ward I live in was a former Mining Village, Labour to the core, ie three Labour Councillors. About two years ago, cracks began to appear, an Independent and two Labour. This year, total wipe out for Labour, 1 independant and two Reform elected. At Council Level, Labour was wiped out, only 1 Labour Councillor left. It is early days, only two months in, but, so far, things have not fallen apart, and, indeed, the Reform Councillors in the ward in which I live are doing a sterling job of "raising and improving 'community awareness'". It may not last of course, but if it does, Labour are going to have to up their game considerably to get back in. Perhaps, some of what "Reform Voters" want is more popular than you think?, or, perhaps, a few "savvy" would be Councillors recognised which way the wind was blowing?

LBC suggesting that he will call a by election, which will wipe out any ongoing parliamentary investigations.
Seems like a very big loophole if true.

No, this has already been debunked. An investigation would continue if re-elected. If not re-elected, it is then at the discretion of the Commissioner.

Well he’s resigned to call a by election.

He must think that will clear his name.

I wonder if Restore will put up a candidate.

Not sure that really gives him any kind of protection other than 'maybe' if he doesn't get re-elected. It feels like he's panicking and surely all this is going to do is make the media realise they're onto something "Mr Farage, if you've done nothing wrong why are you calling this by-election?".
