As a proportion of their income?

The facts ain't difficult to find.

I'm asking Cookiemonster to back up his claim. If it's easy to find I'm sure he'll reply.

However he didn't say as a proportion of their income...

Reform have won a vacant seat in North Tyneside following the Killingworth by-election.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been more made of this on here, but I suppose it's hard to get behind someone who has openly admitted they don't have a clue what they'll actually have to do.

Yes, it is all of those Conservative Voters switching to Reform what done it, but, it's North of Watford, who cares, what happens in the wilderness? 😂

....

Strangely, the idiots that voted for Brexit are the one suffering most from its consequences. Brexit has cost each UK citizen £4000 each and has cost the economy £40billion a year in lost revenue.

.....
So its cost every UK Citizen ( all 67 million of them) £4000 AND in addition it has cost the economy £40billion?

Sounds like double counting the figures there

That's what they thought about the Brexit vote. The London elite had the smile wiped off their faces when they saw the swing percentage to leave in the North East

The percentage is very strong

Killingworth (North Tyneside) Council By-Election Result:
➡️ RFM: 38.5% (New)
🌹 LAB: 31.9% (-22.7)
🌳 CON: 21.4% (-3.5)
🌍 GRN: 4.2% (-16.3)
🔶 LDM: 4.0% (New)

I keep seeing reform picking off local election spots around the country

Because successive governments have flooded the UK with cheap foreign labour, suppress wages to the point most youngsters can't afford to rent let alone buy.

It's been a long term plan for decades- keep the population poor and they will be dependent upon us, malleable to government objectives

Re. renting and buying for the younger generation….

You’re ’in property’ amongst other things (whatever that means). I’d suggest it means you’re part of the problem. What are you doing about it?

I provide excellent quality properties for rental.

I dont do HMO or bottom end properties.

My tenants are decent wage earning couples invariably

I provide property for those wanting to rent.

Hoovering up properties off the market, doing them up, renting them out, therefore depriving buyers? Driving people into rentals who would otherwise buy? That kind of thing?

I get that there’s a market for it, and I’m sure you’re making money off the process. I don’t even care all that much - horses for courses and all that. But you are part of the problem. It can’t always be everyone else’s fault can it?

Why is that a problem when there is a demand for rental properties?

There’s also a demand for purchasing properties. Chains exist. If you stifle one level with too many rentals then lower levels are also stuck. It’s creating the demand - a neat trick, but in my eyes part of the problem with the housing market in this country. I know there are many other problems in the housing market, but the hypocrisy of a ‘landlord’ complaining about problems for first-time buyers is a bit much, esp. as he’s using his usual hyperbole to imply that the country is shite and it’s all the fault of ‘others’.

But it’s obviously in your own interest to say that so you can avoid any responsibility!

Go and look at the figures for population explosion.

Builders couldn't catch up the new arrivals in a hundred years(slight exaggerated)

We dont need to build 1500000 new homes in a 5yr parliament.
