If Labour really want to stop illegal cross-channel migration, they should put the rail unions in charge of the smuggling operation.

I’m sure this is rib ticklingly funny, but last time I checked, the health and safety of their passengers and staff wasn’t top of the smugglers to do list.
If the rail unions were in charge you certainly wouldn’t be seeing unnecessary deaths of desperate people drowning in the channel.
But then again criminal enterprise was never that hot on health and safety or the rule of law.
