One report I saw said a 54 year old had been arrested. I am going to guess at a burglary that she disturbed, with a local suspect arrested and his father briefly arrested initially too.

Why are you 'guessing'? The police, as is usual in these circumstances ask that people on social media don't go playing 'quincy', respect the family who have just discovered their 78 year old family member has been murdered.

Yeah the gigantic enormours platform that is the news part of the cyclechat website running on a subforum is really gonna reach the family. I think they have other things on their mind.

Interesting,we have not much to go on but a headwound on a 78 year old might as well come from a fall, i wonder what additional circumstances made them open a murder inquest

I still think it's distasteful to speculate over the murder of a 78 year old woman, despite her politics disagreeing with mine.

I agree to a point; however I think it comes back to the eternal question of how legitimate the obligatory acceptance of alternative political views is when they're objectively hateful / distasteful...

At what age must the victim be before people are allowed to speculate?
