You just proved my point that Labour performed worse while left wing Corbyn was in charge.

I thank you for your assistance.

By getting the biggest proportion of the majority vote of the last three Labour leaders; 6.3% more than Starmer? You're an actual idiot.

You are confusing popularity with success.
Never mind.

You think democracy is a popularity contest. Maybe that's what it's becoming. However, people who understand the fundamental principles of democracy are much less confused than you.
I did not say that. You are the one pointing out who is most popular.
I am saying left wing Corbyn was less successful than Starmer. Your post proved it.
Thank you.

I did not say ''most popular''. I gave the numbers. You neither understand the principles of democracy or data.

I can make a copy of the numbers; I can't make an idiot understand them.

True.
Remind me again, which elections did Corbyn win?

Your are just trolling now. You initially said 'they tried it with Corbyn'. Corbyn got 6.3% more of the vote than Starmer. Corbyn lost, Starmer won by a landslide. But which of us can't manage to see what that means?

What it means is Corbyn lost, Starmer won by a landslide.
I thank you again for your assistance, no more is required.

You may cast yourself here as The Scarlet Pimpernel, but he has the reputation of being quick-witted. You are not fit for the comparison.

I'd welcome you as a new member, but we were already over-subscribed with trolls and idiots.

I'm not sure that Starmer won by a landslide. I think it was more that the Tories *lost* by a landslide.

Sounds reasonable. My Tory friends and neighbours are but a very small sample, but they all say they sat on their hands and remain embarrassed by the events of the last decade.

My constituency, Esher and Walton, is a very wealthy one and has always had a large Tory majority. Raab started with 18k majority (2010), then 28k majority (2015) , then 23k majority (2017) before dropping to a 2.7k majority in 2019. Something started to happen between 2015 and 2019 which saw the Conservatives become far more unpopular, even with those with money.

Raab saw the writing on the wall and jumped before he could be ritually humiliated. The Tories didn't even bother defending the seat in 2024, putting forth a local young chinless wonder called John Cope. Their office was so piss poor that they sent out election material to 17 year olds who weren't eligible to vote (and a Christmas card after the election as well!).
