They are more stylish, yes.

Depends who is smoking them. A young Jean-Paul Belmondo, then yes. An 80 year old Normandy farmer with emphysema, less so.

Early days, but there are rumours Whitehall staff will be exempt from the national enquiry.

I hope this isn't true, just rumour mill.

Maybe there should be Right Wing Daleks who go round the place proclaiming "Deregulate, deregulate!!" After all, the outcome would be similar as the "Exterminate!" version, if we allowed the free market to decide our food safety standards: it would be the same pattern as ended up with shît in all our rivers while profits floated off abroad.

Who is asking for there to be no food safety standards? Or for there to be no standards set by government?

Rachel from accounts is considering reversing non dom inheritance tax, as rich flight is beginning to bite.

For all those , it must be from 24 carat gold plated main stream news. It's from the FTimes via 𝕏

I'm guessing that she is carrying a copy of 'The Laffer Curve For Dummies' under her arm 😊 And if even Reeves now gets it, what does that tell you about those who still don't?

Quite sickening seeing Starmer interviewed on C4 playing the part of an apologist for Trump. Why can't he remember he's meant to be representing the UK not being a Trump spokesperson.

Same as so often No 10 spokesperson goes on about the importance of law to Starmer given his background etc. but he seems to say little when it comes to Israel breaking International Laws, just sits on any nearby fence uttering "deescalation" whilst eg selling F35 parts to keep Israel's bombers capable of hitting Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iran and whoever is next on the list.

It's best to give up hope and just acknowledge that the UK is the USA's lapdog bitch.
Won't help but cuts down on the inner angst.
