It quick search indicates upto £120k . Most small businesses will have insurance, but their premiums will be much higher. Higher running costs will be another nail in their ever dwindling bottom line

It is unlimited if there was discrimination against a protected characteristic, whistleblowing and a few other things.

Form compensation for lost earnings it is up to 12m salary or £118k, whichever is lower. I am not sure I understand the rationale behind the £118k limit to be honest. There are other potential heads of claim with caps.

Overall it looks to me like for 98% of employees, there is a 12m cap to recovering lost earnings.

Is the proposal to remove that as well, or remove the £118k critereon. Or, alternatively are you posting a tweet that has caused you outrage with no understanding of what you are outraged about?

It all depends on the criteria on the basis of the complaint.

If its unlimited for protected characteristic. Sandie Peggie should be compensated as such

Employment law is still unfairly weighted in favour of the employer. If an employer fails to follow the law they can hardly complain if it occasionally bites them - and I write as a former employer of many years standing.
A friend who runs an HR company has endless tales of idiot employers who are their own worst enemies. The sad thing is that they often get away with stuff because employees don't know their rights and don't receive advice (Join a union!).

Sure. But even so I understand that there should be some limits. I say this as someone who gets saddled sometimes with delivering unwelcome appraisals to snowflakes.

If compensation is related to earnings why have a cap?

Should there be a cap if my careless employer's action or lack of it means I need lifetime care?
The first part I find odd as well.

H&S is one of the exemptions to the cap.

Ruth Davidson. Scottish Tory leader famous for standing by her deeply held beliefs by quitting when Boris became PM, making her job harder. We need more people like her out of politics.

And Beth Rigby, a Labour supporter. Describes Starmer as a fog over Labour thats not lifting

That was obvious when he went to F1 team, trying to jump on the drivers world champoinship celebrations, instead we saw.

The atmosphere in the room was dire, they looked like all their parents had died that day.

Starmer sucks the life out of everything.
