I thought the claim for Ms Rayner was that she had achieved more Social Mobility than anyone else in UK, because she had been born in “poverty”. Don’t recall any mention of marginalisation or gender.
Fair point. I thought Starmers inference was with reference to her being a senior female MP and the fact that she had a baby at 16.
Last time I checked, men don't get pregnant and then have to run two people's lives whilst also studying and trying to get out of poverty.
Men also have difficulties, but I think it's fairly arguable that it's a bit harder for women.
