I somehow don't think that this is going to shift Starmer's Reeves' resolve much... seems to be admitting that it's all a wheeze to avoid paying inheritance tax on his £16.5bn

He was quite convincing on Today. Except that he hasn't figured out that he could use the 7 year rule and avoid IHT completely, which completely ruined his thesis.

You'd think it would most likely be the other way round, but apparently not.
Maybe if those unfortunate rich people opened their wallets to a FA (financial advisor 😉)* then their lives would be simpler.

*Or just someone that is a bit more savvy than them.
