Labour rebel MPs aligning with Andy Burnham

They say

'This administration is coming to an end'

Trouble is, he will need to be an MP. Who will step aside for a safe seat to be parachuted in. He should ask Angela, she may know of such a place

More fool them as there is no cool off period for withdrawing lump sums from your pension, and you can't therefore replace it. And take £1 of taxable income and you've slashed your annual contribution allowance too.

Reading the papers this morning, I came across this passage

Touring broadcast studios this morning, skills minister Baroness Jacqui Smith denied Sir Keir is in the 'last-chance saloon'.

She told Times Radio: 'No, what Keir Starmer is doing today is he's in Downing Street meeting with representatives from the nuclear industry to talk about the deal we are striking with the US this week to help us to get back control of our energy supply and build more nuclear power.'

Quite a turnaround from Labour Party policies in the 1980's that a spokesperson trying to defend the Labour leader is boasting about him doing deals to build more nuclear power plants
I'm not suggesting it is a a bad thing, just pointing out how views change over time
