Said it before. The supermarkets will only stock what their customers will buy. Ultimately it is up to the British people.
Put a big US flag on it alongside "CHLORINATED".

Strange that those on here who condemn Farage for what he was up to 40+ years ago are happy to be hypocritical about El Fatah posting terrorist views.
The excuse will obviously be that Farage hasn't changed his views, but El Fatah says he has changed his views.....

All while trying to stick the boot into MagAndy
I'm a bit behind on my newsfeeds but from what I've seen the questionable posts would likely get the poster an arrest and a court hearing.

Also unsure about how the "old" is being portrayed as one report I saw said from 2010-12 which isn't that long ago. And reported on TV news this evening that they've only been deleted after the outcry started.

It's the same department who vetted Peter Mandleson I imagine.

Did Mandleson need much vetting? Most of the stuff was out there already. 😆

I only ask as there is nobody claiming ‘the scoop’ ie the Telegraph usually does the scab picking for anything that will undermine the government, but the tweets have been reported as ‘resurfaced‘ or ‘uncovered’.

I'm happy to condemn both while pointing out the hypocrisy of those who don't; those who called for his release and now want him deported; those who condemn political foes who called for his release but not their political friends who did the same; those who are condemning the government for celebrating his release having sat in a government which demanded it; and those who advocate for free speech for themselves and their fellow travellers while demanding others are stripped of their citizenship

*edit- condemn too strong a word for thinking 'that's a bit grim' and moving on.

Problem: For some price will be the crucial deciding factor. Similarly, when incorporated into microwave meals at best customer might get "Produce of several countries".

As so often on here, the 'lefties' are so happy to be hypocrites on issues such as this when they conflict with similar situations involving populists. I don't recall (m)any posts condemning these tweets

There is a long list of things that the public would buy but which are not allowed, for an almost endless list of sensible reasons.

True. I am quite happy with the conclusion that a sizeable amount of the British population are stupid.
We "could" boycott anything we want though.

It's funny that the fascists are getting hysterical over Mr El Fatah's return to the UK. Presumably they've changed their minds over Lucy Connelly's conviction and changed their minds over Lucy Connelly's conviction and sentence.

Try turning that round and you can say the same re the left and the situation

Although of course Connolly could not be stripped of her citizenship

I think you might also be overlooking the subterfuge that crappy food producers will employ to camouflage the cheap shít they'll put in their products to boost their profits.

It's nonsense to insist on high animal welfare for UK farming only to say it's fine to to ignore those standards on imported food.

I'm simply suggesting an alternative strategy for when Starmer folds.
I can't help it if the population as a whole is gullible.

The tweets are truly disgusting, as was Farago’s behaviour in school. I can’t think of anybody who has condoned the tweets, I think they have been universally condemned.

Its the faux pearl clutching that is problem.

I'm a "leftie" and I condemn these tweets, just as I condemn the racist remarks of young Farage.

They were both a long time ago and neither (especially if those views have genuinely changed) deserve action as drastic as taking away citizenship or deportation. Presumably such action is not even legally possible for Farage.

It is not news that politics and political discussion is rife with hypocrisy, nor that people see it most in the faction they dislike the most.
There is also hypocrisy in this case from right wing politicians in that the Tories, when in power, supported the freedom and return of Fattah but now are condemning Starmer for carrying on what they started.
