This is going to go down well with fence sitting

Public dislike of Trűmp see their tax being used to indirectly pay Trûmp's tariffs (even though it's the importer ion the US liable to pay NOT the UK taxpayer).

Small British companies will suffer tho’ if their main market is US with extra shipping costs, taxes, and diminished sales due to higher prices.

Rachel from accounts. Her strategy is coming to fruition

Payroll slumps at fastest pace in 5 years

Unemployment 5.1%

Private sector growth- you know that bit that creates wealth and taxes falls to 5 year low

Glasman was one of the "panel" (of 2) on BBC Newsnight last night and was a complete waste of space. Particularly obvious as the other person was very knowledgable, clear and balanced. Glassman by comparison could only mumble a few historical facts from the 1940's and parrot "how good a job Starmer is doing". Fortunately Ms Derbyshire (the host/interviewer) quickly recognised this and so focused on the other guest largely ignoring Glasman.

(Impression I came away with at the end of the program)

Privatise the profits, socialise the losses.
