Known that Mandleson maintaining a friendship with Epstein after conviction. Known Mandleson has not always been open and honest yet Starmer just believed it all.

My first hope is that Starmer tries to save his own skin by appeasing his backbenchers by getting rid of McSweeney, who seems to be have been the architect for Mandelson's elevation, and is the focus of many backbenchers' ire. If he could take Reformy Glasman with him, that would be a bonus.

I appreciate that the tories are enjoying a moment of glee today, bless them. But some very angry Labour backbenches are calling the shots. Today has shown that Rayner is not afraid to wield her influence.
