Current guess from my Bluesky feed is that the dancing on Starmer's grave is premature. The enthusiastic jiving is obviously coming from the RW press who are desperate to get a scalp, along with those on the left who see Starmer as a RW plant.

I think it's more likely that he weathers the current storm (possibly by jettisoning McSweeney as the sacrificial lamb to appease the non-Blue Labour MPs), but if he's going to go, it'll be after disastrous local election results, particularly if he doesn't take the opportunity provided by the crisis to change tack away from the McSweeney messaging.

A Reform UK Wales spokesperson said the post "is the sort of vile misinformation and smear that should be beneath a major governing political party".

This would be the same Reform party that posted an AI generated picture of the Harris Museum in Preston with asylum seekers queuing up outside it? The same Reform party that posted an image of Farage with a child suffering from cancer in a hospital bed which was created by AI? The same Reform party whose councillors in Leicestershire used AI pictures of themselves to make them look better. The same Reform UK who generated an antisemitic AI image of Green Party leader Zack Polanski?

They seem to have missed that Labour didn't create the image - unlike all of the images they have created.

The problem being not AI but unknown bad faith actors, there's really not much we can now do.

Without the photo, I do think my wider point remains, that as the investigations continue and the net drags both deeper and wider there are more fish to be caught.

If in doubt, copying and pasting a photo into Google Gemini is a quick way to check, and seems pretty reliable. I think it behoves all of us to be cynical and on guard against these kinds of things.

Lol. The other day you literally posted an Epstein excerpt of anonymous phoned in tips, one saying a celebrity had murdered a child at a party, another saying Trump was present when a baby was killed. You don't exactly behoove yourself much.
