So, allegedly Starmer has refused Trump permission to use 2 bases, Fairford & Diego Garcia to launch strikes on Iran.

If Trump ignored this & used either or both bases, what in practice will Starmer do?

Theoretically he could kick US off bases, but that won't happen, so what will Starmer do?

A couple of grand of that is mine....

January is always a booster month as Self Assessment wants final amount for 2024/5 and cash on account for 25/26.

No it's because of some nefarious Labour scheme.

How much more of a surplus is there in January than normal? That's the more reasonable assessment than December.

In 2025, January's was £14.5Bn, which was itself unusually high. I can't find 2024s because the search hits are drowned out by right wing hyperbole about us all getting ripped off, despite the £100Bn annual deficit.

I presume this is from the additional tax burdens on UK.

Something doesn't add up or there is a huge lag on the crash that is coming and bleeding the tax payer now.

We have fewer jobs more unemployment, crashing building industry. These are not positive indicators of a booming industry

Someone is lying
