My favourite question on the landing card.
“Are you planning on carrying out terrorist activities?”
I sh!t you not. The wording may not be perfect but that’s the gist.

Exactly! I've been there many times and, aside from Israel, US has the most aggressive "welcome" of anywhere I've been

Zelensky to visit Starmer to sign a UK-Ukraine pact.
With the Mango Mussolini cosying up to that other dictator, Putin and lifting the oil embargo, it’s good that here in the UK we have our priorities sorted.
Our resources and cooperation should be given to those who deserve it and are fighting a real war, not some vanity project that’s become out of control.

Some of comments below are choice with the twàt, formerly known as Trump taking a right kicking.

It will be interesting to see which side the UK press take.
They claim to be patriotic but often side with the orange moron.

I'm not sure you can call Starmer either of those things when he's actually stood up to Donnie. We should be pretty pleased that we've not become the US' lapdog in another futile excursion to the Middle East.

The "special relationship" is pretty strained I reckon. But hey, we've got Farage and Truss on the case, kind of.

Only because Starmer wants to get back into Europe’s good books & Trump is all out for his masters in Isreal.
Personally I think we should concentrate on Europe & fudge USA.

Yeah, no sh!t? That's pretty much what I wrote.

Without the dig at Starmer.

But for whatever reason you think I love Labour and everything they do, so in the words of The Dude...

"That's just like, your opinion, man."

I'm just starting to wonder if following the departure of McSweeney, Labour is recalibrating somewhat: they dropped the bit of the AI bill nullifying copyright claims, Reeves is making more positive noises about the EU, and now it seems that they are going to water down the most toxic elements of Mahmood's immigration changes, after the pushback from backbench MPs (over 100) and Rayner's forthright statement. Maybe they've been looking at the post mortem analysis of where their vote evaporated in the recent by-election (and other polling), and it ain't going to Reform, or is likely to.

To early to tell, obvs... but...

It's perhaps possible that it's taken a while to unpick the utter sh!tshow they inherited and are actually doing alright, given the circumstances.
