Yep, one of those on the ceiling. But mostly my humble northern terrace has a garden.

Yebbut, it's been raining here.

Just seen a write up of this bag of shite article. The vast majority of tumble dryers are now heat pump ones. They cause fewer fires, use a lot less energy (you would make back the £20 or so difference in cost in energy bills in less than one winter) and are better for your clothes as they are designed to dry for longer periods on lower heats.

Yet another example of the lobbying going on to our Labour Government hidden from view and difficult for anybody to find out about
Key Starmer adviser held 16 undisclosed meetings with top US tech bosses
The No 10 business aide Varun Chandra discussed regulatory changes, AI and Donald Trump’s second administration with tech corporations during confidential meetings between October 2024 and October 2025. In one meeting he offered to help a top executive meet the prime minister directly.

... It took 12 months to get confirmation of Chandra’s engagements under freedom of information rules.

The meeting logs obtained by the Guardian are the first glimpse into the working schedule of a powerful political operative who can link business executives to the prime minister and the chancellor. They raise questions about what a democracy campaigner described as “lobbying behind closed doors”.
