If there literally was no news one day, this would be newsworthy.
It would be good if they were to do that today.
Watching the BBC late news on a Sunday night is an example. They often struggle to find anything interesting so we get told about riveting news such as people protesting about some public facility closing in Bangor or Pwllheli. Oh for the days of the potter's wheel.
so now you are contradicting yourself in post 17598?
I'm confused you claim the media are not covering the fact nothing is happening ( in your view) but are now saying they are?
The media are reporting stories that other reports are reporting.
There is a lot being said, but nothing actually happening.
Has anyone actually challenged Starmer? No.
FYI, Burnham only needs to stand down as mayor of Manchester if he wins the by-election to become an MP.

I suspect current Green attitudes are that nest future prospects for Green Party is if Starmer remains and were they able to take enough Labour votes in the by election. Also interesting that Caroline Lucas says that the Greens shouldn't put up a candidate, as Burnham 'is in favour of PR' and is the best chance of getting it, but she's being eviscerated by Green supporters for having voiced that opinion, as they think the Greens should contest it as hard as they can.

Lucas looking at the best interest of the country, Polanski/Current Greens looking at their best short term options.
Yet again Greens slipping lower in my opinions.
