E finished her RHS qualifications there as a mature student. They were about to start those buildings - wasn't it controversial because they had to demolish greenhouses?
Bikes are for riding and getting filthy.
Probs a bit after my time, but yes I think there were greenhouses there before.
Not sure what this replacement is - an indoor riding school??
For some reason us Ag students didn't seem to be very welcome in the horti department..
Unless we were doing crop trials .
I guess they thought we were a bit too unrefined and liable to go galumphing about breaking things.
(They may have had a point 🙄)
You're totally correct about the purposes of bicycles.
