Before this goes the way of all flesh why in your second sentence do you consider religious views on this as automatically abuse?

That’s subtly different to my intended meaning.

Religious views are not automatically abuse. Attempts to shame people or terrify them about the post-death consequences of being who they are does amount to abuse.

Why do religious folk feel the need to involve themselves in anything I do, least of all what I choose to do with my genitals? It’s weird and abusive.

At what age did you choose a cis hetero “lifestyle?” Any regrets?

Never been one for thatched cottages.

More of a home in Speyside, in the forests looking onto a loch/Cairngorm mountains, is more my thing.

It might not be your intention but that reads as though you view homosexuality (or, by extension, any sexuality) as a lifestyle choice.
