The Premier League referee David Coote has been suspended after video footage emerged of him calling Jürgen Klopp a “German daffodil” and Liverpool “shoot”.

Sky muted the audio, as they usually do when the Old Firm songbook gets cranked up. It's a problem everyone knows about but never gets properly acknowledged.

Well, yeah. Because if Sky (and other broadcasters) gave an honest impression of what either side of the Old Firm were actually like, they'd be playing all their games behind closed doors.

Orange is a bit Presbyterian, not a royal colour and not properly establishment.

The Orange Order is as staunchly protestant and establishment as it comes. Many Rangers fans love it and would be seriously miffed about Her Madge dismissing their walks.

I'm not sure if I'm missing a different point you're making or haven't got my original one about Rangers fans, the Queen and the Orange Order or what; since I don't want to be accused of 'splaining again I'll leave it there.
