I am not sure. The fact he has completely ignored this thread does suggest some degree of self awareness. I am fully prepared to admit to being wrong though! 😂

Well, you're never going to pass even Grade 1 Trolling (ABRST) with that attitude!

Fairly sure this thread is being trolled by trainspotters. 😂

I do not take the numbers now, so no 'Trainspotters', thankyou very much.
Learn for the future you apparent 'know alls'! 🤷‍♂️🤣

But I suspect they aren't used for an hourly high-speed service from Edinburgh to Plymouth...

They were built for the high capacity route between Glasgow and Ayr... But, yes, you might be right, although in their day, had they been configured right...

Ok, actually, a bit of light trolling you say?

Ok...

@First Aspect, I saw these today! 🤣:

Maybe this needs to go in the 'Banter' thread, although if it carries on like this, we'll need a 'Train banter' thread so FA can silo his inner troll.

Hang on, are they still using the.old shijty carriages that were a bus on rails?

Kind of fits with that part of Scotland. Very 1980s.

No, those were 'pacers', which were very much a north of England and south west thing.

These are proper EMUs (also see class 317 and '455).

We had those Pacer trains on the Exmouth line till not that long ago, but I think they've emigrated to Wales now.

A class 318 is NOT a pacer

🤣

Bring it on!!
