Mr Trumpay;
I have noted that you do feed some Trolls. You are free to do so of course, but I thought I'd point it out, just in case you hadn't realised ...

Kind Regards,
M x

Sometimes the difference between a troll and banter is difficult to see. Particularly if it's been going on for a few years.

Fair points from both of you.

Fair point. But the ignore function works well, in that I can still click and see what he's posted if I fancy a laugh. I see quite a lot of good old forum arguments going on around him as though he's not there.

Think of him like a bollard that's been hit by a car at some point.

Indeed, I do the same, but it was just switching to 'New posts' instead of 'What's new' and seeing that he's been weeing on the furniture in every thread that caught my eye. I genuinely don't understand what people get out of it, as arguing with a big pile of steaming poo would be as intellectually satisfying.

I think things like in the night garden are about his level, tbh.

Interesting to see that someone who has a different view to your view is now regarded as a troll.

Debate is dead, its agree with my view of you are a troll
It's not different views. Different views are welcomed.

It's the endless Twitter posts from some unknown "influencer" pushing complete lies. If people want to read the entirity of Twitter they'll be reading it on Twitter, we don't need it clogging up and destroying discussion here.

And posting Twitter posts here doesn't give the opportunity to discuss those views as the author (on Twitter) has never heard of Cycle Chat. Troll isn't expressing their views, just the views of others who are not posting here.

So that makes what is happening "trolling" rather than expressing differing views.
