The Tories were purely riffing off Musk in a cheap attack on the government, and an attempt to occupy ground held by Reform.

If this wasn't the case, a call for a new inquiry would have been in their manifesto, Badenoch's leadership campaign, and probably mentioned at every opportunity.

Invoking one or two vociferous victims is a little odd, given that those victims haven't altered their position.

It's pretty repugnant that some people are jumping straight on Musk and Yaxley-Lennon's far right bandwagon

Two excellent pieces of satire here:-

The Exploding Heads:

and of course the Papua New Guinea Courier's latest letter from London:

That should be posted everywhere.
The bit about Russia and China made me laugh out loud.

Indeed although we should also mention that the second paragraph of the Papua New Guinea Courier's letter from London is a veritable work of art.

The sentence "he has aligned himself with the partially sentient balloons in Reform; like Musk's cars, their MPs are often charged with battery" deserves framing.

Steve Bannon condemns Elon Musk as ‘racist’ and ‘truly evil’
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...nnon-calls-elon-musk-racist?CMP=share_btn_url

As a Charlton Athletic fan, a Musk / Bannon war is like the 2016 FA Cup Final between Crystal Palace and Man U. You kind of hope there is a way both of them can suffer a humiliating loss.

It appears from the article that Bannon views Musk as racist because Musk wants some immigrants (albeit only the ones that can enrich himself). It is quite the definition of racist.

My prediction Musk will "win". Or both will lose in that Musk will win then later fall out for favour with Trump.

Bannon might be "true MAGA" but Trump only uses MAGA as a vehicle to get people talking about him, he has no interest in America just in himself. Musk has money and owns Twitter.

The interesting question is why Musk is attacking democratically elected politicians in European countries and promoting far right parties like the AfD and fascists like Tommy Robinson
