Did big corporations divest themselves of the Nazi party in 1930s Germany?

They divested themselves of trades unions and workers' rights. It worked for them for a while.

A while is all they are concerned about… depending on what they can get done in that while.

The world is not at all what it was like in the 30s. TUs are not what they were then and workers in the US especially, seem to be more concerned about pay and costs than rights.

Wonder if Musk is now going to do for the US what he's done to Twitter ie turn in into a cesspit full of bile worth a fraction of what he paid for it not long ago (US$44bn -> US$19 bn?).

Not the best analogy. Hitler was a career politician rather than a business man. I'm not aware of him sponsoring or being associated with the sales of any products, other than swastika armbands and sales of those went through the floor after a few short years.

You are being a bit literal. Musk is now both a businesses and a politician, and the point I made was that in other fascist regimes big businesses did not try to distance themselves from fascist figureheads.
