To be fair, it's lost 50% from the peak value it gained in December 2024. You could also argue that the December bump has finished and the price is back down to what it was before that huge bump. So back to normal as opposed to the artificial rise caused by the election.

Where it stops falling will be the interesting bit. You would expect it to level off now. I have a hunch it might not...

So the US courts (supreme ones) have halted the dismantling off USAID faster then Tesla's shares drop, apparently the president can't abuse his powers, there are quite a few other cases pending, including quite a few about Musk's / DOGE's position.

It doesn't matter. If he wants to save Tesla he needs to divest himself of Tesla. It is association with his actions which is causing the share price to collapse.

If he wants to gain support again he is going to need to start listening to people and accepting that other people know more about things than he does. Good leaders listen to the expertise that is given to them. Aligning yourself with a senile racist rapist and convicted felon is a bad decision. Much of what he is doing is based on lack of information and poor decision making.

This does not make him an asset to any of his companies. Maybe he needs to go away to a retreat for a year and come back as a reformed character. At the moment despite his amazing achievements in the field of electric cars and space exploration, history is going to record him as being a dangerous volatile a$$hole. He clearly needs someone to vet his communications so that he doesn't call experts "paedos" and portray himself as a Nazi.

I don't think Musk distancing himself from Tesla is still going to work damage is done, the main issue for Musk is that he is now (far) right wing and most people buying electric are more left or centre.
and indeed showing a gesture associated with Nazi's doesn't really help.
