That isn't true. We have asked *repeatedly* for evidence of Brexit benefits. No-one has yet been able to find one.
On the flip side we have been able to identify multiple significant harms.

VAT - free tampons. That's all that we got out of it. Came about 15 years too late for me. I'm super impressed!

Good point, although I don't think that the *price* dropped by 20%... Wonder where that 20% did go? I wonder if there is a major shareholder we can ask?

NB - I may not use 'em but I do get sent to buy them and gaze dolefully at the massive wall of options while trying to work out which one was the one asked for

They’re available free at my local library. And where I worked they were available (free) in all toilets.

But that's just France and getting French residency doesn't give you rights to travel around other Schengen countries beyond the 90/180 (as I understand it). So eg going into Belgium legally could be difficult as no border posts (one year cycling up from NE France morning heading out from Lille I crossed the French/Belgian border 8 times before lunch.

If you still have a British passport that is the point. As shengen eligibilty is based on having a passport of a participating country.

It's a bit the same as asking for benefits of a Trump lead government on a democratic party rally. Now we all see and known it sucks but it is besides the point.

It would be great if Brexit was a success. If it was we would all be worshipping Dave and Boris and saying "we were wrong". It isn't so we are fairly united in thinking they are utterly self-serving bell-ends.
Jeez even that you can make sound like a nightmare, Boris and Dave worshipping....

Well we'd be about £100bn better off, music would still be flourishing, our energy prices would be better and we wouldn't have to pay phone charges when going abroad. Travel on Eurostar etc would be a lot easier etc etc.
We might still be, but it's a bit hard to compare is covid happened, but the EU has spend much more and has become even less democratic, and no i don't imply or want to say that's is so great here, but it's kind off easy to claim ''i don't see it so it hasn't happened'' and that makes us an easy victim for like you said roaming charges, banks that want less regulation so they claim they don't make enough money etc. etc.
if we would be a good functioning independent economic a bank saying that would the very next that feel what it means to make practically no profit and quick;y jump into damage control for that stupid threat, but that's not who we are anymore, where to used to our apps spying on us sold as feature, looking at our phones etc. etc. And maybe that's why across the board we in fact only have stupid leaders, if we don't demand bold decisions why should they care to table them?

Makes sense to me.

Actually it doesn't, but as you well know, I can be a bit slow.

Pre brexit you never saw lobster on Edinburgh restaurant menus. Now you can get a half lobster for less than a steak.

Err, but that's it. No other benefits.

I imagine that lobsters can see the downsides of that. Well, until the water gets too hot.

I haven't heard Soros say a single farking thing about it, but all the same, I know how I feel about Musk.

He doesn't have to , he's on his last legs. But there are many factions financially backed by Soros money. He has a child I believe following in his footsteps
