Does anybody really believe that are Russian drones so bad and under such poor control they they'll be accidentally flying to the wrong country?
No.

I was rather surprised that this evening's 6oclock BBC News had the Poland Drones story as item 3, and, Prince Harry as item 1. I would have thought the possibility of WW3 was just slightly more important than how often Harry visits UK, or, if he does/does not meet his father when he is here.

Likewise, I was also surprised but it seems the nature of BBC news reporting, more "magazine" than "important".

It wasn't only that Harry/Overlord were going to meet, also the time dedicated to the item and a reporter & outside broadcast unit outside whichever of the many royal residences where the afternoon tea was happening.

I am finding the BBC choices of the order of the headlines rather bewildering.

The exclave of Kaliningrad is of course on the border between Poland and Lithuania and Russia has for sometime, been installing in the exclave what has been dubbed the "Monster Radar".

Let's hope that the US is moving in the right direction.

An escalation on both sides. i'm not sure why Putin is poking a NATO country. Okay, it's right out of the Putin text book to gauge the response but Russia is not in a good way.
Now, this is where I see a parallel - Trump is under severe pressure and this latest talk makes him look strong and deflects from other things.
Putin's is bolstered by recent meetings with Xing pee and our mate Kim but the back drop is problems at home - from financing this war to internal power struggles to failing to occupy Ukraine.
There is not a snowflakes chance in hell Putin could win a conflict with the West at this moment in time. The speed that the Poles reacted to the drones illustrates that the NATO defences are all up and running and of course, backed by the coalition of the willing.

I heard that the main objective of the drones was to find out where the holes in the defences are.
That some got so far into Poland would indicate that it was a successful operation with that in mind.
