I guess that there won't be any particular hurry on Ukraine's part to root out those trapped.

Sounds like the EU has been putting pressure on Belgium to drop its objections to using frozen Russian assets as collateral for major loans for Ukraine, so that might gently rebalance the scales ahead of further negotiations.

The Russian submarine that was hit a few days ago has not moved. This is contrary to Russian propaganda saying it's fine and releasing a short clip - from the other side of the vessel. Satellite images show the damage to the pier (it's made of concrete) and the sub looking like it's sagging in the water. The sub is to the right of the pier damage and there is another sub (of the 3 subs which are intact that have been moved since the drone strike) to south of the stricken sub.

Novorossiysk naval base has been shut down by the Russians. That means nothing's coming in and nothing is coming out.
The Russian navy torpedoed 3 barges to cut the port off and protect it from naval drones.

On the basis of 350,000 Russian military killed since the illegal invasion, those bags are going to last a couple of days. - Probably a bit longer if one excludes those Russians who are reduced to forming part of the Ukrainian landscape

The point being is that the soldiers themselves are having to raise money to purchase body bags.
The current rate of casualties on the front line is 1000 per day.
Oh and it's now well over 400k killed.
