Massive overnight attack on Moscow. With direct hits on oil depots.
Ukraine taking the war directly to the capital.
Trump might turn his attention back to this conflict now that Iran is sorted out. Ha ha.
But will he tell Putin to stop this now? And would his mate Putin listen?
Radio news this morning saying Moscow Airport was closed due to the attacks. That (as well as clouds of smoke from oil refineries) will be bringing the war into greater public perception.

It's simultaneaously cathartic and addictive watching Russian things get destroyed.

Those refineries supply 40% of Moscow's fuel.
It's bedlam there.

They were hit with 6 home grown Ukrainian cruise missiles amongst other things. Russian air defences continue to go awry and hit apartment blocks and a shopping centre.

Someone online was suggesting the flying saucer was wonky friendly fire, but that feels like it might be trying to gloss over the fact that Ukraine can target Moscow effectively.

I find all this cheering-on of death and destruction unpleasant. War is war and it's not glorious.

Sorry. But the sooner Putin throws in the bloody towel, the sooner the present death and destruction ends.

Anyway, it seems it might have been Russian 'friendly fire' for the flying saucer.

To an extent, you are right but...
Russia kidnapped 20,000 children. Approx. 15,000 Ukrainian citizens have been killed. April this year was the worst for Ukrainian civilian casualties. Putin's aggression has targeted hospitals and schools and the Russians have thrown thousands of drones indiscriminately in a deliberate act to try and punish and demoralise. Putin is a war criminal. His actions mount to nothing but state sponsored terrorism. Putin flexed his muscles in Chechnya - 33,000 people died in that conflict. Hundreds of apartment blocks and civilian dwellings were struck.
Parts of Georgia are still under Russian occupation. Putin has spread his tentacles globally either by paid influencers and propagandists. He has had people assassinated in all corners of the world including the UK. Little has been reported on his actions in Africa. His alliance with Assad was one of the most insidious alliances. 300,000 civilians died in that conflict, millions were displaced. Assad probably used chemical weapons made in Russia and even if they didn't, Russia was complicit in that conflict.
Hundreds of thousands of people are still living in tents in Syria. The rebuilding costs of Syria leaves huge parts of the country derelict and severely impoverished. Putin assisted Assad very publicly, very shamelessly.

The Ukraine conflict has had massive effect on European security. He used Orban as a trojan horse in the EU. God knows what other influence in political parties or in social media he has plied.
Apart from Nathan Gill, how many people in Reform are being sponsored by Russian money?

The Russian rhetoric amongst the political commentators and paid propagandists regarding Ukrainians is vile - they are referred to tufts of hair (Khokhol) or Khryukraina (the sound pigs make) and that 'we should crush them like ants'.

Don't forget, despite everything, Zelensky has not targeted civilians in any form.

Russia's demise (given the above) is something that I will relish and I will relish the destruction of that horrible web and that horrible man called Putin and his horrible regime. Every damn Russian asset that I see burning makes me smile. We will see the end of Putin's evil, despicable actions and I hope he and his cronies suffer like the vile, corrupt genocidal pigs that they are. They deserve everything that's happening to them: the war machine and the oil cash generators getting destroyed is just a start.

Anyway, I think they might be noticing this in Moscow now.

The chickens have come home to roost.
Some Russians don't know what the hell is going on. They have been either stuck in a filtered bubble and swallowed the propaganda or they have thought all along that a) Russia would win and b) it was their right to take Ukraine. Dissenting voices have been silenced, killed, imprisoned. News media is all state sponsored and they have done their utmost to prevent Russians accessing western media and contrary views.

Wake up Russia and smell the coffee.

Tonight's drone map doesn't suggest that Ukraine are giving up on Crimea. Or Moscow.

Yes, Crimea is occupied territory and Moscow is more than symbolic. Crimea was taken and used as a holiday park and properties selling for silly money. Now it's literally a big sell of properties as estate agents are trying to offload.
That refinery in Moscow as I posted previously), produced 40% of Moscow's fuel. t's also the capitol: Putin's castle and the drones missiles are flying over the remnants of the super power with casual ease.

Imagine; Napoleon failed, Hitler failed but...
