Putin and Trump will meet in Alaska to discuss an end to the war. Surely this is pointless without Zelenskyy. A take it or leave it pre packaged deal between Trump and Putin will almost certainly be totally unacceptable to Ukraine and Europe.
It's how Trump sees his world - powerful men deciding and dictating what everybody does.

Trump's advisers see it as a "way out", Trump divides up the world according to his & Putin's wishes, Zelensky rightly says "no way" then Trump can walk away "I've sorted it but Ukraine has chosen to continue fighting ..." and he'll consider Ukraine the aggressor, stop all support and try and bring Putin back into the Rest of the World.

Starmer will prevaricate and might go as far as considering "Strong Words", (just as long as Trump allows him to).

Trump has made himself look a fool and handed Putin victory. Putin has yet again run rings around Trump, playimng for time and getting it (again). Just days before Trump's deadline Putin offers nothing and Trump leaps on it and ... yet another deadline drifts past without any action.

Europe will have to step up now and provide more assistance to Ukraine.

Even Zelenskyy plays the 'flatter Trump' card, whilst pushing the sensible messaging otherwise required.

Nice of him to provide a little history lesson for Trump, not that he'll pay any attention or acknowledge it.

He's already repeating Putin's demands as if they are his ideas for peace.
What will be offered is peace in return for a partial capitulation. While Putin regains strength.
