This man who is wanted for espionage and crimes in innumerable nations and was apparently behind the Salisbury poisoning, was on the ship attacked in the med.
Andrey Ivanov. It is believed that he was killed but this is yet to be confirmed.

Bloomberg reported this on Monday, December 22.

According to Bloomberg, according to data from the independent price agency Argus Media, last Friday, December 19, in ports on the Baltic Sea the price of Urals oil was USD 34.8 per barrel. At the same time, in the Black Sea ports of the Russian federation the price of a barrel of Urals oil fell to USD 33.17 per barrel.

I'll nail my flag to this post.
The world is a safer place with a failed Putin than a dominant Putin.

Yeah, but anyone who tries to deal in barrels of oil that’s not in petro dollars will be illegally invaded, bombed, in the name of democracy. Their leaders hung. The world is a safer place as long as the USA controls the minerals.

I would say, at the moment, the world would be a safer place with a weakened Putin, the situation is not binary.

My worry about a weakened Putin is he can still carry out his actions against Europe. Cut undersea cables, drones closing airports, cyberattacks, cheap, easy and all that happens is European leaders pretend to talk tough followed by nothing.

Well, I suppose it depends on what we mean by “weakened”my version was to have him lose popularity and be replaced (hopefully by a more moderate leader) in a controlled manner, rather than a sudden collapse, using the Russian populations desire for a more decadent life, which we could feed by exports of coca-cola, pop music, computer games and other western crap, etc 😊

Reasons to be cheerful part 318. Some headlines:

  • Ukraine took out Russia’s only submarine-hunter aircraft before historic Kilo-class sub strike (VIDEO) https://euromaidanpress.com/2025/12...ussias-submarine-hunter-before-strike-on-sub/
  • Russia faces growing oil glut as tankers linger off shore [Bloomberg]. India and China hesitant to take the oil in light of US and EU sanctions. [Trump is such an idiot he doesn't know what sanctions are still in place. You never hear this on BBC/ITV. BBC reported on Tuesday night that over 600 drones rained down on Kyiv like this was new and they never mentioned that over 90% of drones are shot down. Piss poor reporting painting a wrong picture.
  • In Nizhny Novgorod, a very expensive Russian ship specialized in repairing other Russian ships will no longer be repairing anything anymore, on grounds of having just exploded and burned down.
