Just saw that one-minute stretching routine on Bluesky, and thought actually that's one even I might build into the morning routine, even if I'm not fighting Ruskies.

Known as the Sun Salutation, I used to do it everyday but now as I get older and need it more than ever I have lapsed. So 1st Jan I’ll get back into the habit, if I can.

OK, thanks, found a rather bendier version on Youtube to follow till I've learnt it. Might incorporate one or two twisting stretches too on the one with one leg back. But an under-two-minute routine would be good to do daily, and even something I might stick to.

I wonder how that will be viewed. I hope the Russians respond with the usual bluff and propaganda and nothing else. Or perhaps even pretend it didn't happen. They have been doing a lot of that.

Sure, the military spend is an important part of the Russian economy, but worth keeping in mind the sunk cost fallacy and the probability that Putin's very existence/life depends on him not conceding defeat. That must be quite a motivating factor in his decisions.

Putin has completed his $130m villa in Crimea just recently.

Iranians are protesting en masse and it's bedlam. 5 protester deaths and the people are calling for the Royal family to return - who are living in exile in the US.
Meanwhile Putin has sent 7 large military aircrafts in to support the regime. Carrying men and munitions.
Now he's fighting a war on multiple fronts.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out. I don't think it will be cheap however Putin plays it but the threat of a major ally and consumer going the wrong way must be weighing on him.
