Ah, I know what I did. I looked at the date which was the same date they struck St Petersburg and come to the wrong conclusion, so wot Blakey said
As a follow up, yes that was footage from only 5 ships that were hit.
Ships mask their names and... switch their radar off.

- Buying fuel in Crimea by cash or card is illegal. You have to obtain a coupon.

This is the type of thing that gives 'progressive Democrats' a bad name... oh, the purity of not wishing to harm ordinary Russians! Despite Omar being the only Democrat to vote against the Act, enough Republicans supported it that it passed anyway.

I don't understand the post. Is this correct - Omar did not vote for the support act because of the economic sanctions despite being an apparent supporter of Ukraine?

Yup. Because she doesn't want to punish 'ordinary Russians' for the actions of their government. I'm guessing she doesn't like to think about how hardship of a population can lead them to overthrow a tyrannical leader. So I'm assuming she's not come across the French or Russian Revolutions in her history lessons.

If you do not personally come to the conclusion that it is time to end this war, Ukraine will continue fighting for its existence. We will have those who support us.
But you, too, will have to fight much harder for your own existence — not Russia’s, but your own. And this is not a threat from me or from Ukraine. It is a fact of Russian history that you know well: when Russia grows tired, change comes.
We can work toward that fatigue.
You can stop your war.
Eternal memory to all those whose lives were taken by this war.
It's a long letter where no impact is lost in the simplicity of the language used.

Some great content on Preston Stewart's Youtube channel, I know he's biased (aren't we all somewhat?) but things are not looking good for Crimea. I get the impression the only reason the bridge is still there is to allow the evacuation of civvies.
