Being allegedly “on the ropes” with the Ukrainians, does not seem like a good time to open up another front?
Perhaps it is for “internal” consumption, ie poke NATO without telling population, but, then report NATO/Polish response as “picking on poor Russia”.
An article with something along those lines seems to be a yearly thing, Would be very unwise tough, not only isNato no longer sleeping, Poland is leading the Baltic countries for years now and has a very capable army. Any dispute they might have with the Ukrainians will be quickly set aside the crush Putin if he dares to play their hand.The Independent
