I think politics is so depressing at the moment that no one wants to think about it.

Most of my friends have no Interest in discussing politics now.

I have considered both these posts very diligently and have decided to disregard them out of hand.

Just out of interest is it the dirty commies left leaning or fascist scum right leaning that are the worst offenders?

To be fair, I think the overwhelming conversation/debate conducted on here is pretty respectful.

I think a lot of people take debate, even online debate, quite personally. I think many struggle or worry it will affect them offline, particularly with regards to mental health.

I suspect there is also an element with politics that people worry they will get labelled or their views will be misconstrued.
