I haven't watched any of the matches, so I don't really know how teams are doing. During a conversation with friends yesterday, they said that Argentina completely changed as a team from apathetic to brilliant after Egypt scored a second goal. Based on reports, Argentina also left it quite late to beat Switzerland. Could there be some betting scam going on that involves Argentina? Much more likely than any zionist conspiracy.

Pretty much. Although it could be argued that a team like Argentina can be apathetic then go up several gears and blow a team away.
