Well i think we know how one Tesla owner will feel...

I'm also fairly confident that this will further tank sales in the UK. I was considering possibly a refurb Tesla. Now, absolutely not. Not until they sack Musk from the board. He is going to kill the company.

Who in their right mind would choose to buy a car with a reputation for treating the occupants as extra fuel for the fire?

For those who don't know, Teslas have receding door handles making it impossible for helpers to be open the doors in the event of a car fire.

Like all vehicles Tesla have mechanical door latches inside. Like all vehicles the side glass is tempered and will shatter instantly upon a sharp impact.

You do know model 3 and Y have normal handles. Model S and X are the ones with retractable handles.

So it's not impossible to gain quick access.

Also probably you dont know EVs have far lower incidents of fires than internal combustion engine vehicles.
