It's an add for his new campaign, here of all places! Oh the irony....

I seem to be getting pants again.

Slightly bizarre pants if I'm honest...

But still not as pants as getting Garriges gurning visage .

I have ads blocked on the phone & the PC. I haven't worked out how to do that on the iPad using Firefox, but they're just visual noise, I don't really register the content.

I don't usually notice neither..

But the psychedelic knickers are rather eye catching

Still mostly bras although I'm aware that might be observation bias.

Funny how I don't get bras and you do.

Did you buy some nice undies for your wife perhaps?

I'm almost considering buying some 'rave pants' for my bf.

But he's not so keen on the tight fitting model.

Needs more room to move while he's grooving..

'pparently

Although I did get an ad for Blue Dot the other day..

Wasted on me.

As I've already got tickets for it.. :hyper:

Still considering whether the kids are just a tiny bit too young for that. We went a few years ago pre-kids when New Order played there and it was astonishingly good.

The children would enjoy the daytime but would need to retire early and I'm not spending hundreds of pounds to lie in a tent and miss Björk.

Yes that was always the problem with little kids at festivals..

Even,or especially if they lay on an 'amazing' kids area..

You can spend the afternoon supervising their craft or dressing up session with all the other kids..

Activities which they seem to have fairly scant interest in at home ..When it's freely available.

And then you miss half the band's you've paid a lot of money for - only to hear them very faintly in in the distance.

It's ok if you can get them to sleep in a wheelbarrow, or have a decent gang of mates with similarly aged kids so you only have to babysit one night.

Nowadays mine are old enough to to come along and go on a buying mission to the bar, then come back and appreciate the musical delights on offer properly.
And then I'm usually the one who needs her bed first...

Bjork, Hannah Peel, Warmduscher, George Ezra....

Plus all the lovely sciencey stuff.. 💙💚💜🐧💃

I thought the two of you got hitched. Or is this someone else?

We did get 'hitched' or more correctly
Civilly Partnered ..

But I still call him 'my boyfriend' as that sounds more fun, less 'domestic drudge' than 'husband' (to me at least)

And he's a teensy bit younger too ..

Why is it ironic?
Have you not heard about the effects of his brexit scheming on our economy.??

Not ideal financial advisor material I wouldn't say..

Just a grifter who will put his face to anything to turn a buck..

But you go for it ..

Let's us know how you get on :okay:

I've started calling my civilly partnered civil (sometimes) partner "wife" because saying girlfriend after 38 years makes it sound as though she's someone else.

Well there's where we diverge in our feelings I guess.

Being the rabid feminist that I am

I'd object to being called wife..
Certainly not 'the wife'

Too much patriarchal baggage.

My bf claims he sometimes refers to me 'ironically' as 'the missus'.

I guess you've gotta get your kicks where you can.

If I'm in a 'grown up' situation, I'll use the more neutral term partner..

Which is of course occasionally ambiguous too - keep em guessing I say :okay:
