This wouldn't be a good answer even at school debate level. I'd hazard a guess she came up with a meme to put on X, and that was the extent of the policy planning, thinking, like Johnson, that she's got the intellect to wing it if someone has the audacity to ask her a question.

I can think of someone who debates like that. I'm surprised the response wasn't 'do your own research' or 'that's not the point' though before dismissing the question as leftiebollox.

When's my rent free period inside you head coming to an end?

My son works at the Intellectual Property Office and ensures me that you have not registered the trademark so it's still up for grabs for a minimum of £170.

I've just registered "rightshite" to reply to your posts.

Oob, looks like I've got more rent free time. Thanks Rusty ;)

If you don't want people to reply to or mock your ©rightshite don't post it.

Not sure that you've grasped the meaning of 'living rent-free' on an internet discussion forum, other than in a narcissistic way.

Street put him right.

Former Conservative Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street told BBC Newsnight: "Putting it bluntly, Robert is wrong."
"Handsworth, it's come a hell of a long way in the 40 years since the last civil disturbances there and it's actually a very integrated place," he continued.

What's happened to him since? He seemed like one of the good ones.

There was talk at one point of him standing as an MP but I think that is very unlikely! I think he Chairs and is on the Board of various local institutions like the Birmingham Rep but don't believe he has gone back into any active work role. Interestingly, he is Michael Fabricant's partner.

Ha, just googled and was about to post almost word for word the same.

Possibly keeping his powder dry until the Tory Party is less toxic.

I was listening to Badenoch on the news this morning where she was responding to a question about the above comment (she wasn't there so for all we know it was just a factual statement at that time as obviously that was the point being made). Hearing her speak I realised she's trying to fake a plummy, posh accent for some reason which just adds to her sounding patronising and unlikeable. I guess she was inspired by Thatcher.
