The fervent circle jerking over these "terrorists" is quite something. Nobody has been hurt and a few cars have been scratched or burned. Maybe if Musk stopped behaving like a giddy fascist unleashed with impunity in a government sandbox people might not be so pissed off at him?

If this was the other way around you can guarantee people would be saying "a yurt got burned, so f*ck?"

It is blatant manipulation of laws to support a financial backer.
Do the same rules apply to a vandalised BMW? No. That country’s government is now corrupt to the core, and not even attempting to hide it.

World gone soft, kids were given a clip around the ear back on the day. You respected other people's property.

Now it's seen as ok to damage property, attack people for just owning a particular car.

Trump is just restoring law and order.

For these unfortunate 'terrorists' they will be made an example of.

This is a grown man behaving like a toddler, then grovelling when caught

Punishing vandalism as domestic terrorism is new though. Especially when it is applied to only one brand.

It's only on response to the level of vandalism.

If you remember the Budlight uproar. The objectors just didn't buy Bud light to show their disdain.

Why can't lefties do the same, stop buying Tesla vehicles

I don't agree with branding just Tesla targeted attacks as ''domestic terrorist'' it should be all of them Or none ofthem. But justifying damaging other poeple's property because you think the person is an peanut? That's just wrong.

The vandalism is targeting people who thought they were doing some environmental good. People forget Musk was aligned with the Democrats at one point and Biden was pushing the climate change programs along.
From a militant perspective - vandalise the dealers and the factories but not the individuals who bought them.

Who are all these Tesla-buying lefties of whom you speak? Aren't they supposed to drive around in 1995 diesel Volvos running on recycled chip fat, or something?

So you condone vandalism against showrooms and car lots ?

This is why the president has elevated these attacks to domestic terrorism. Once a few highly publicised court cases go through with huge prison terms, I expect the vandalism will almost disappear overnight.

There seems to be a drop off reported on social media, because the internet is quickly helping identify perpetrators, police are swooping on to arrest them.

Point of order sir. I must correct this misnomer: You cannot run (common rail) diesels on chip fat. You can however, run them on cooking oil. I ran all our plant and machinery in my global recycling empire on cooking oil - recycled cooking oil. We recycled 77,000 litres of the stuff no less and not once did I manage to successfully run anything on chip fat. In fact, I didn't even try.
