A scratch usually involves painting a whole panel, or incase of metallics, pearl paints involves a whole side of a vehicle to blend in the colour.

You could go for a marker pen repair, see how that looks 😁

The million dollars isn't for the repair, it's a big stick to hurt the perpetrator financially for hassle, inconvenience, stress etc etc.

It will actually come to nothing, but the process will crucify the offender, with his own stress and worry

Except that damages have to be proportionate.
As I said above, any sane person would tell the claimant to get real. There's a few hundred dollars of compensation due, maybe a couple of thousand at most.

Not in the USA. Smallest of claims can result in astronomical penalties.

Like I said it will likely come to nothing. The process will be the punishment.

Anyone who knows of , or has been through serious litigation will know the toll it can take upon a person.

Sales are down globally. It was widely reported. Norway is an exception because it buys, I think I'm right in saying, proportionately, the most electric cars per capita. But, Tesla won't survive on a small market, you've got to know that, right?

Investing.com -- Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA)’s sales volume in Germany witnessed a sharp decline of 42.5% in March, as reported by the German road traffic agency KBA.

This drop comes even as the overall sales of battery electric vehicles in the country saw an increase.

The KBA revealed on its website on Thursday that Tesla managed to sell only 2,229 cars in Germany during March, marking a significant drop of 42.5% compared to the same period last year.

Furthermore, Tesla’s sales volume for the first quarter of the year also saw a substantial decrease. Between January and March 2025, Tesla sold a total of 4,935 units, a decline of 62.2% compared to the same period in the previous year.

In contrast to Tesla’s sales performance, the electric vehicle market in Germany showed a positive trend. The total number of newly registered electric vehicles in the country increased by 35.3% in March, according to KBA.

This indicates a growing demand for electric vehicles in Germany, even though Tesla’s sales have been on a downward trajectory.
