To be fair, it seems he has gone off the rails somewhat since he was an MP, but even that is troubling, as he did seems to be a vaguely sane voice back then.

Ex Labour MP and (arguably) one-time good guy (speaking up for the underdog?) Tom Watson has taken a job with Palantir. And they wonder why we've lost our trust in politicians... at least there are a few (e.g. Gordon Brown) who stick to their principles and use their profile to argue for the same things that they did when they were in parliament needing our votes.
