How about on this forum then - we've been here for a while now. You're trying to make a point so you back it up.

The move to this forum came after the election so how do you expect me to find stuff relating to before the election? To make it easier for everyone, do you think the last Tory government did a good job on immigration to make sure we only got the 'right' sort of immigrants? Do you think we now have more of the 'wrong' sort of legal immigrants arriving than we did before July 2024?

And they need sun, lots of it. Those round red things sold in sixes in cellophane aren't tomatoes, they are just round red things.

At Lutzy's after a clubrun, two cyclists were discussing in huge detail meals they or someone had prepared. I caught "Ten different kinds of tomatoes". You can probably guess who.

And to think you lot mock the banality of the mothership.

Must admit that I'm surprised that the Billy Connolly video about masturbation is still up on yesterday's daily thread (though it would have been taken down if it had been in Gaelic).

Maybe it's not as banal as we thought.

I remember reading an article (a long time ago) where a food critic in London realised something was wrong when he caught himself adding tomato ketchup to tomatoes. Then again, a food critic using tomato ketchup should probably be ignored. 😉

It had probably been made in Italy using tomatoes grown in Tuscany and chopped by hand using knives forged in some remote village, cooked in a copper urn over an olive wood fire, and costing £253 per 100ml bottle.

and it would not be available in Aldi or Lidl 😂

One can't have the hoi polloi hoovering up the food destined for dedicated epicureans.

I wasn't far out - well, not on the price anyway, if Copilot is to be believed.

One of the most disappointing things about coming back from Sorrento is realising that the lemons we get in the co-op would probably just be left on the floor for compost in most Sorrento Orchards!

Show me some evidence if you can. Not for the first time of asking.
