My impression is that those gains are made from valuation rather than profit (ie sell shared at over-inflated company values) and to achieve them you have to sell before the bubble bursts - something Musk can't do as that would quickly cause the bubble to burst and he'd be too late to avoid massive drop in value.

You might be right, but OTOH I can't see how they can baldly state it's illegal but still allow it to be freely available.

My hunch is that the fury is indicating to Ofcom to ban it, so that the Government can say it wasn't the Government itself wot did it.

I think the challenge is in allowing mysogenistic AI porn whilst banning paedophilic AI porn.

While they figure out how to make Grok capable of telling whether an image is that of a child, it stands to reason that all AI porn should be allowed.

Rather like shootings, there is a constitutionally acceptable level of child abuse.
