I dunno, but how about going out and getting jobs?
Seems a little unfair. Beatrice has been vice-president of partnerships and strategy at Afiniti for 9 years and has recently launched her own company. Eugenie has been a director at Houser & Wirth Art Gallery for 8 years.

The whole article seems to be a bit of pointless waffle as far as I can see.

They aren't responsible for their parents dysfunctional behaviour.

It's all happening at WaPo. Within 24 hours, Bezos sacks half of their reporters and all of the staff photographers around the world, leaving them stranded and with a GoFundMe started to try to pay for their return to the US (I guess Bezos can't afford to pay for their return as he's only got, let me see, what's $250bn minus $75mn?), and Will Lewis gets sacked.

I guess the Washington Post dies in darkness.

Good to see they started at the bottom and earned promotion through the ranks, like mere mortals 😂

Are you suggesting that Beatrice, after graduating with a 2:1 in history and working for one year each as a research associate (charity), a "private equity analyst", an international production analyst (Sony PIctures Entertainment), and an associate at Sandbridge Capital that she might have had a leg up to her role as VP Partnerships and Strategy for Affiniti in NYC?

Unlike withmost US companies she seems able to get plenty of holidays. Friends of mine have sons working for big US finance companies and they really have to ration their holidays.

And that's why Starmer still hasn't stopped talking to Trump: he's approved the Chagos Islands deal. Farage & Badenoch are going to be strangely silent, I suspect.

If another party gets in , the deal will be rescinded

Someone obviously thought that HS2 is going so well that a loop railway connecting major cities the British Isles with *two* tunnels under the Irish sea would be viable.
It's just an Architectural Firm's 2025 "look at us - we have amazing ideas" pamphlet.
https://www.dezeen.com/2026/02/06/the-loop-chris-williamson-high-speed-railway/

It's an idea from WW+P who are working in Saudi on the Neom rail line. The bridges / tunnels across the Irish sea are just one of the many, many, many reasons this would never happen. Their "concept" involves an almost 90 mile long tunnel / bridge between Bangor and Dublin, and one a similar length from Belfast to Glasgow cutting across the Isle of Arran and Holy Island.

Nothing says unspoilt area of natual beauty like a farking great raised railway (raised for no apparent reason here)

This bloke was out for a hike, following a foot path:

"Fark me, who put this monstrosity there?"

Look Gina - this used to be a castle 1000 years old and unspoiled countryside, then some Moron went and built a high speed rail line 20 metres away

It doesn't exactly inspire confidence in their judgement or seriousness.

But, but, but....That first one already has an existing raised elevation railway line.
It's even been used in many movies.
