I can't find a coroners report or a summary thereof anywhere. Bit you are at the very least mistaken if you think the only thing that matters is whether or not prompt action might have saved his life.

It probably matters to his family that his last experiences in life were 1. Being stabbed 2. Being falsely accussed 3. Being mistakenly arrested 4. Not being listened to while he was dying?

I think I must have missed the part where the attending officers made any attempt to assess the facts, before proceeding with 2-4.

Apologies it was a pathologist in court. Of course it's not great, but there are many many worse examples of policing. The officer is sceptical about the stabbing, but says they should check - presumably he was looking for a load of blood which is what most people would expect.

The case is being used as race bait by Farage and the like.

---------
Hampshire police's Deputy Chief Constable Robert France said that within three minutes of interacting with Nowak, the officers were starting to perform CPR.

"This is a complete tragedy and I am sorry that they couldn't save Henry that night and I'm sorry that Henry was handcuffed and arrested as he lost consciousness," he said.

"The pathologist who spoke in court was clear there was nothing officers could have done that day to save Henry.

"His wound was deep and internal, the bleeding extensive but internal."

You are probably right, but I tend to prefer to let these things play out before coming to a judgement. As someone else has said there might be a bit more to it than we know. Or not.

I think if you are family though, even the slightest hint that a quicker response or some other course of action might have changed the outcome, would be difficult to accept.
